Asphalt shingles are the most common roof in Central Indiana for good reason: they are durable, affordable and available in dozens of profiles and colors. We install and repair Owens Corning asphalt shingle systems built to handle Indiana wind, hail and freeze-thaw.
Why Asphalt
Indianapolis roofs take a beating. Spring storms bring hail and straight-line wind, summer heat bakes the south-facing slopes, and winter cycles water in and out of every seam. Modern laminated asphalt shingles are engineered for exactly that: wind ratings up to 130 mph, impact-resistant options for hail-prone neighborhoods, and algae-resistant granules that keep the dark streaking off your roof.
We install Owens Corning shingles because their Duration line with SureNail Technology gives a wider, tougher nailing zone — the exact spot where wind failures start. Paired with proper ice-and-water shield at the eaves and valleys, correct attic ventilation and a full starter and ridge system, you get a roof that performs as a system rather than a stack of parts.

What We Do
Choosing Shingles
The budget-friendly flat-profile shingle. Best for rentals, outbuildings and matching an existing older roof. Typical life span of 15 to 20 years in Indiana.
The Central Indiana standard. Laminated layers give depth, a dimensional shadow line and stronger wind performance, usually with a 25 to 30 year real-world life.
Class 4 rated shingles for hail-prone areas. Higher up-front cost, but they resist bruising and many insurers offer a premium discount for them.
